1. Stack Diagram 0.3.0

Stack Diagram is an agent skill that turns a plain-language system description into a checked architecture diagram using official technology logos. It can deliver self-contained HTML, PNG, or a dependency-free React component in light and dark themes. Jason could describe one real workflow, compare the result with the actual services and trust boundaries, then keep the corrected HTML beside the project as an editable operations map rather than a decorative one-off image.

OPERATIONAL VALUE
Map one newsletter or deployment workflow, add data stores, credentials, approval gates, and external services, then have the owner correct every missing or misleading connection.

QUICK VIDEO
Speak a six-service stack in one sentence, generate the diagram, catch one false assumption, and show the corrected light and dark exports.

Reality: Version 0.3.0 and the code/docs are MIT. It needs Python 3.9+ and network access to fetch logos; PNG export uses Playwright and Chromium. Fonts and logo sources retain separate licenses and trademarks. The optional public gallery requires two approvals, but keep private architecture out of it. Inspect fetched assets, verify every edge manually, and treat the diagram as documentation—not proof of security or deployment state.

2. Shisei 0.4.1

Shisei is a pose-reference library built for image tools, with 280 faceless mannequin poses, five camera angles, multilingual labels, and reviewed line-art, clay, depth, and normal-map variants. The downloadable packs make it useful beyond the hosted gallery. Jason could choose one pose across several angles, feed the same references into a copied ComfyUI workflow, and measure whether shot-to-shot body direction improves without tying the experiment to a proprietary pose service.

OPERATIONAL VALUE
Download the line-art pack, select one non-sensitive pose set, log the exact view and model settings, and compare consistency across three planned camera angles.

QUICK VIDEO
Use one pose from front, side, and high angles to stage the same character, then reveal where identity, hands, clothing, or camera direction still drift.

Reality: The site code is Apache-2.0 and the original project images are CC0-1.0; version 0.4.1 provides checksummed release archives. Some pose series are suggestive adult references and are blurred by default. AI image models, ControlNet components, prompts, character identities, and outputs keep their own terms. Review the project’s QC notes, avoid using references that do not fit the audience, and verify anatomy rather than assuming a control image guarantees it.

Open 3D Skills repository
WORTH A LOOK

3. Open 3D Skills

Open 3D Skills packages eight agent skills for Three.js scenes, scroll-scrubbed films, transparent video, cursor rigs, exploded views, motion assets, browser checking, and frame-by-frame recording. The strongest idea is that construction and acceptance guidance travel together. Jason could install only the Three.js scene and browser-check skills in a disposable project, build a code-only product reveal, then inspect mobile behavior, reduced motion, loading, and recorded frames before keeping any technique.

OPERATIONAL VALUE
Use a new sandbox project, install two named skills only, preserve generated source, and verify desktop, mobile, performance, reduced-motion, and frame-capture results independently.

QUICK VIDEO
Build a simple motor exploded view from code, scrub it on scroll, then show the browser checks and a clean 60-fps capture beside the live page.

Reality: The repository is MIT and has no tagged release, so pin a reviewed commit. The documented one-line skill installer needs Node 22.20+; the shell installer executes remote code and should be inspected before use. Three.js, Chromium, FFmpeg, AI providers, generated motion assets, fonts, music, and source media remain separate. Start with one skill, no production repository, and treat the examples as technique demonstrations rather than performance guarantees.

AI Design Check repository

4. AI Design Check 0.10.0

AI Design Check combines 87 interface rules with a zero-dependency checker and agent skills for web, SwiftUI, and Jetpack Compose work. It reports file-and-line findings, inventories UI elements, probes narrow layouts, proposes design-system inputs, and can produce a before/after story video. Jason could run it against a copied landing page, separate mechanical violations from visual judgments, fix only confirmed problems, and compare the rendered page at phone and desktop widths.

OPERATIONAL VALUE
Baseline a disposable copy, review each finding, record accepted exceptions, run the narrow check with long text, and compare screenshots before updating any shared component.

QUICK VIDEO
Scan an obviously AI-looking page, fix three verified issues, and use the built-in story command to show exactly what changed without hiding the remaining problems.

Reality: Version 0.10.0 is MIT, needs Node 20+, and requires no API key for its checker. Fifty rules are automatic; 37 are explicitly human-review items. The browser-based narrow and story paths add Chrome and media dependencies, while its design opinions are not universal accessibility acceptance. Keep the baseline and ignore comments reviewable, do not auto-apply every suggestion, and still perform keyboard, screen-reader, contrast, and real-device testing.

BAIagent Director repository
WATCHLIST

5. BAIagent Director 1.3.0

BAIagent Director is a local-first desktop advisor that turns a company site, market evidence, and selected documents into sourced hypotheses and measurable pilot plans. Its useful discipline is the required owner, timing, budget assumption, metric, and stop condition. Jason could test it with public information about a fictional business, compare every cited claim with the source, and judge whether the resulting pilot is concrete enough to run without confusing research assistance with executive judgment.

OPERATIONAL VALUE
Use a fictional company and public sources, demand one reversible pilot with a stop condition, then score citation fidelity, missing evidence, cost assumptions, and decision usefulness.

QUICK VIDEO
Give the app one vague growth idea, watch it turn the idea into a sourced pilot, then red-team the citations and cancel the plan if its stop condition is weak.

Reality: Source code is AGPL-3.0-or-later; Qwen and dependencies have separate terms. The Windows x64 installer is not Authenticode-signed, so use a sandbox and verify its published checksum. Local mode can use Ollama or download about 2.4 GB of model data; the project recommends at least 8 GB RAM. Fresh market research still uses the internet. Do not provide confidential business files during an initial evaluation, and independently check every citation and recommendation.

5 Proven Classics

WEAVIATE · WORTH A LOOK

Weaviate remains strong for hybrid vector and structured search. Most code is BSD-3-Clause, while the newer wl directory is enterprise-only; inspect boundaries before embedding or redistributing it.

Source →
ARIZE PHOENIX · WORTH A LOOK

Phoenix remains useful for traces, evaluations, prompts, datasets, and experiments across many agent frameworks. It is source-available under Elastic License 2.0, not OSI open source.

Source →
INVOKEAI · TRY NOW

InvokeAI remains a polished Apache-2.0 creative engine with canvas and workflow tools. Code is open source, but downloaded models, assets, hardware, and generated-media rights remain separate.

Source →
FOOOCUS · SKIP FOR NOW

Fooocus still teaches excellent low-friction image UX under GPL-3.0, but its last tagged release is from 2024 and development is dormant. Study the interface; choose an active stack.

FASTMCP · TRY NOW

FastMCP remains an active Apache-2.0 Python toolkit for MCP servers and clients. Start with one read-only tool, explicit schemas, bounded outputs, authentication, and adversarial input tests.

Reality Check

A repository license does not cover its whole workflow. Stack Diagram fetches third-party logos; Shisei’s images are CC0, but generators and outputs are separately governed. Open 3D Skills can call browsers, media tools, and AI providers. AI Design Check is a rules engine, not accessibility certification. BAIagent’s unsigned installer, local model, internet research, and business advice each need separate trust decisions. Among the classics, Weaviate mixes BSD and enterprise-only code, Phoenix uses ELv2 source-available terms, and Fooocus is dormant. Pin releases or commits, use copied data, review installers and scripts, preserve editable source, and verify consequential results independently.

Bottom Line

Try Stack Diagram first: one accurate, editable operations map can improve documentation without touching production. Then use Shisei’s CC0 references in a copied image workflow to test multi-angle consistency. AI Design Check is the best third experiment because it can produce concrete file-level findings, but keep human visual and accessibility review in charge. Open 3D Skills deserves a sandboxed prototype. Keep BAIagent on the watchlist until its unsigned installer, evidence quality, and advice survive an isolated fictional-business test.

Curated from official project repositories and release notes. Verify current terms before production use; software, services, models, data, identities, media, accounts, trademarks, and outputs may carry different licenses.
